Apart from that, another way to solve the
discrimination of homosexual is through education.”Educators cannot ignore the risks faced by homosexual students, but
deciding how to deal with the issue should be a matter of local concern”
(Archer, 2002, n.p.). In his article, Archer is emphasizing  that educators must solve the problem of  discrimination against gay students and should
put away their personal views to create a safe environment for these students.
School teachers and administrators should always pay close attention to gay
discrimination and harassment and it should be solve at the verbal stage before
it gets to the physical point or causes the youth’s academic learning to be
harmed. According to the research, in New York City they have made an attempt
and come up with a solution which is opening an all-gay school in order to
reduce discrimination against LGBT youths. The environment of a positive
education should have less depression, fewer suicidal feelings, lower substance
use and fewer unexcused school absences among LGBT students. Educators should
encourage student organized school clubs that promote a safe, welcoming, and
accepting school environment such as gay-straight alliances which are school
clubs open to youth of all sexual orientations and advising all students not to
bullying, harassment, or violence against any homosexual person. Undeniable, to
reduce the discrimination of homosexual, parents and guardians also act as an
essential role in order to prevent their kids from discrimination. Parents
should talk openly with their teen about any problems or concerns and watch for
behaviours that might show their child is being bullied or is experiencing
violence. If bullying, violence, or depression is suspected, parents should
take immediate action working with school staff and other adults in the
community in order to prevent their child has “scar of childhood”. Parents can
pull out some working time to communicate with their child the topic about
homosexual , this is due to after their child fully understand about homosexual
they will not to discriminate homosexual.
