In factbullying has many negative impacts and effects on people, especially studentsat middle and high school. However, bullying is not considered a problem orissue that can’t be fixed or prevented. At school, teachers are responsible andhave the duty to inform and educate their students about the consequences ofbullying and its negative impacts on other students. Not only teachers, butalso students themselves can take an action and help prevent bullying at theirschool area. They can either write an article for the schools newspaper or start an anti-bullying club orprevention program. Bullying is linked to many negativeoutcomes including impacts on mental health, substance use, and suicide. However,we can all work together to stop this worldwide issue and problem before itgets more extreme and intense.      Types of Bullying Bullying’s around the world           There are many types of bullying, but the common one’s are,physical bullying, verbal bullying, and cyber bullying.

Although all of thesetypes are really harmful for people, but the most dangerous type of bullying isthe physical bullying. Now physical bullying is one of the most dangerous typesbecause it hurts someone’s body or damages their possessions (Thompson, 2014).It Includes physical touch, Kuykendall (2012) such as nudging, slapping,kicking, pushing, spitting, tripping, tugging on hair, stepping on someone’stoe, inappropriate touching, or throwing something at a victim (p.43). Verbalbullying isany bullying that is done by talking. Making fun of names, spreading rumors,and threatening somebody, are all forms of verbal bullying.

The main thing usedin verbal bullying is voice. Any type of bullying using technology isclassified as cyber bullying. Cyber bullying and verbal bullying are similar insome ways, but cyber bullying is any type of disturbance, harassment, andracism over e-mails, social media like (twitter), and cell phones. As shown in Figure1, cyber bullying and verbal bullying are alike in some ways, so this resultsin sharing the same percentage of victims being bullied around the world. Forinstance, because physical bullying has to do with physical touch and itrequires strength and power, it is less common around the world and it occurs lesscomparing to the other types of bullying.

As shown infigure 2, a man was bullied since he was young and now after 52 years he issuffering with physiological disorders as an adult. Anti-bullying programs areabsolutely necessary to school children who may already be displayingaggressive behavior or to help kids who are being bullied.
