There are several different ways that can be used to treat OCD. The most common are therapy and different medications. Another way to treat it is to use self care. The most important thing to do during self care, is do not self medicate. Medications for this particular disease must be prescribed by a person’s doctor in order to determine if the medicine is truly trustworthy or not. There is no full cure for the disease at this time, but there are ways to lessen its effects. The best way to do this is through therapy. Therapy would come with a specialist on the disease, who would hopefully be able to help anyone suffering from this disease, to make their symptoms be more controlled.
