One problem with water bottles is that they are dangerous to animals. To the majority of animal population plastic is poison. And that garbage goes to the seas and land fills A.K.A a place for garbage. And animals mistake the plastic for food! And like I said before plastic is poisonous to a majority of the animal population and that poison can kill them,Plus 100 million bird and sea, life is being killed by plastic every year. And that makes me think even more about what I could do, to prevent this from happening to the sea and bird life. So that makes me think that were the reason animals are becoming extinct, in the first place because of humans!!!    Another problem with water bottles is that they don’t get recycled. And did you know, that ? people in the world puts plastic in the garbage bin, that plastic is enough to fill, 350,000 garbage trucks, and/or 10 New York’s one and only empire state buildings and those things… let me tell you there massive. This makes me think deeper into the topic. I feel Worse about the sea and animal life. And there’s already a “great garbage patch” twice the size of texas, we don’t need one for plastic too!   Supplying americans with plastic water bottles for one year consumes more than 47 million gallons of oil! Enough to take 100,000 cars off the road. And 1 billion pounds of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere each day in the USA more than 60 million plastic water bottles are, thrown away only 27% are recycled… most end up in landfills and take up to 1,000 years to biodegrade.   Humans use 232 16oz of bottles a year!!!And that’s a big number of plastic being thrown out in the trash.Chapter Two: Water bottles are also good in many ways, like when there’s a tornado and the water pipes break because of the pressure on the ground, then you won’t have any access to  water source’s to drink from so then you have no choice, than to go to bottled water. Water bottles are also good incase of any emergency were you cant access water from a tap like a hurricane, tornado, floods and much more. Also water bottles are good because according to youtube, scholastic and IBWA (International Bottled water association). That in tap water there’s an acceptable amount of led in the tap water, that people drink, and led is bad for you.     Also according to IBWA (International Bottled water association), youtube and scholastic, if you drink tap water more commonly than bottled water there’s a higher chance of you being sick, or worse die because of the led contained in the water.      One time an earthquake hit the ground in haiti, that broke the water pipes and the water bottle company’s provided/sent water bottles so the resident’s in haiti wouldn’t die of thirst.   Another way water bottles can be helpful in after natural disasters like hurricanes, wildfires, terrorist attacks, flooding, tornadoes, and much, much more.  Chapter Three: Reducing waste from water bottle’sWe could start reducing the amount of times we use plastic water bottles, like using reusable water bottles, by using reusable water bottles you not only save sea/bird life but you also save money too. Because reducing the amount of garbage, and stuff you throw away, saves the bird and sea life. Plus it saves you money.   What can kids do to provoke this from  happening?Well one thing kids could do is put together a fundraiser/program tell all the kids what harm it does to animals. Another way to provoke this situation in hand is in the lunchroom or anywhere with garbage disposals, is having a green bin for specifically garbage only and a blue bin for recyclables only. Or another way is this game called “telephone” only if somebody sees someone putting the wrong thing in the wrong bin that person can correct their mistake and that person will so the same thing for another person until it got all around the school. And a word from a site on google says “recycle cans, bottles, paper, books and even toys” that are old and broken down/in bad condition. Also another word from google “reduce the amount of stuff you use and throw away”
