Pearly Harbor was a military attack
by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service against the United States navy base
at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on December 7, 1941. The attack on Pearl Harbor led the
United States into World War II. Almost sixty years later the United States
gets attacked again on September 11, 2001. Both of these attacks were defining
moments in the U.S. history that caught our country by surprise. Both of these
events were a disaster where innocent lives were taken. Thousands of Americans
were killed by foreign attackers that came into our country.

Both tragedies touched the heart of lives
in ways that will never be forgotten. Both of these attacks killed thousands of
Americans. For example, about 2,400 Americans died during the Pearl Harbor
attack and about 2,600 Americans died on 9/11. These events left thousands of
American dead, civilians, workers and officers. Both of these tragedies led to
long wars like World War II, and the war that is going on now in Afghanistan
and Iraq. Both of these events were sneak attacks and surprises. Americans were
in shock from the attacks that had happened.

attack on Pearl Harbor was done by the Japanese and the attack on 9/11 was done
by Islamic terrorists on the World Trade Center. The Japanese attacked Pearl
Harbor because they wanted to eliminate the fleet of ships so that Japan can
expand. The 9/11 attack was done by Islamic terrorists that were apart of Osama
Bin Laden’s terrorist organization. The Pearl Harbor attack was done by the
Japanese military to a United States military target. The attack on 9/11 was a
civilian aircraft against a civilian target.

Both of these attacks were tragic and left the
nation shocked. Many people died in the historic attacks and the attacks were
