calamities, love affairs, and histories. Comparisons are abundant between many of

Shakespeare? s works. Numerous comparings can be made in characters, secret plan, and

address between Romeo and Juliet, which is a calamity, and Much Ado About Nothing,

which is a comedy. First, matching characters in both dramas include

scoundrels, lovers, and friends in add-on to characters who provide amusing

alleviation. These plants have a similar scoundrel. Tybalt of Romeo and Juliet is

similar to Don John in Much Ado About Nothing in that both characters do non

approve of the lover? s relationships and wish to interrupt them up. Furthermore,

Romeo and Juliet are similar to Claudio and Hero, who are the taking twosomes in

each drama. The amusing alleviation in each drama is the ticker in Much Ado About Nothing

and the retainers in Romeo and Juliet. Besides, Mercutio and Bene*censored* are both

scornful of love. However, Bene*censored* does eventually fall in love with

Beatrice. Additionally, each male immature lover has his group of friends in each

drama. However, in Much Ado About Nothing, Hero besides has her group of

familiarities ; Juliet does non. Besides, several similarities in secret plan exist between

Romeo and Juliet and Much Ado About Nothing. In each of these dramas, a love affair

between immature lovers includes a false decease of the female character, which the

male character believes to be existent. In Romeo and Juliet, there is a fatal

& gt ;

stoping ; in which both of the lovers kill themselves because they would instead

dice than travel on life without each other. However, in Much Ado About Nothing,

the false decease is discovered before there are any existent deceases. Both twosomes do

stop up together, although one is in life and the other in decease. In add-on,

similarities in address occur in these plants. Of class, the same Shakespearean

linguistic communication is in each work. Both of these dramas have evident oxymorons about

love. In Romeo and Juliet, Romeo says of his crush at the clip, ? O wrangling

love, O loving hatred? ( Shakespeare, 1.1.181 ) . And in Much Ado About Nothing,

Beatrice asks Bene*censored* , ? But for which of my good parts did you first

suffer love for me? ? ( Shakespeare 5.2. 63-64 ) . Suffer love is an evident

oxymoron because it consists of two dissimilar footings. Besides, the much overused

rhetorical poesy is present in both of the dramas. Additionally, the regulations of

Shakespearian addressing are used in both. In decision, William

Shakespeare? s Romeo and Juliet and Much Ado About Nothing can be compared in

characters, secret plan, and address. These comparings are made between two different

classs of dramas ; comedy and calamity.
