American Government has three branches from which each of the three is
independent, but the three cooperate to govern. After the Connecticut
Compromise, the delegates were concern about how to divide the power. Their
reason was to prevent tyranny and be a limited government by this it means they
wanted to be able to have a fairness gov. for the people, without any overpower
from the majority or the minority. James Madison proposed to divide the power
into three branches, and those three branches are; Legislative, Executive and
Judicial.  The purpose of checks and
balances is that each branch has influence or power on the other departments to
keep the balance and to prevent a single branch to gain too much control and to
limit their actions.

Legislative Branch checks on the Executive is impeachment power over the
President is the Congress can rewrite legislatures to circumvent the court
decision Judiciary; Congress approves federal judges.

Executive Branch checks on the Judicial power to appoint judges.  Besides, the President can refuse to enforce
the court’s decision. The power that Executive has on the
Legislative is the Veto power. Also, President can propose laws and can veto
congressional legislation.

The Judicial Branch can do on the Legislative
is declare laws passed by the Congress unconstitutional. The checks on the
Executive can declare presidential actions unconstitutional. For both
Legislative and Executive, The Judicial branch can state if there are doing
something illegal (unconstitutional), because they interpret the laws.

conclusion, the three branches of the U.S Government have specific limited
power, they also have a specific control over other branches, this allows to
have a balance in our Government to keep fairness in the legal system, so one
branch does not hold low stability in the lawmaking process.

Nations have their system of
government, each one different from the others but it can examine through their
relationship between central government and local government. Those systems
are; the Unitary system, the Confederal system, and the Federal system. These
systems show whether authority or power in the country is (power distribution).

The Unitary System is held by a single
entity, for example; it lays in the national, central, government. Where the
local government is control by the government or central.

In another hand, the Confederal System is held
by the independent states, in a few words the states or individual regional

The last system, Federal System, that
is a combination of the

Unitary and Confederal system. A
shared power. In this system the central and the states or local government
share power to govern, though, they have a specific power too. Their political
power is equally distributed among state and national government with an equal
scale of important power distribution.

The United States system is Federal
and is preferred by various regions. A Federalist form of government is
preferred due to some advantages; protection against tyranny, programs
pioneered, air pollution control, the religious freedom and sexual preference.
Another factor, is due to their achievements from their organized government,
from what other countries decide to be and Unitary or Confederal. The success
of being a Federal country system make it desirable for many other residents of
foreign countries, where they do not have these opportunities.

In conclusion to the three systems, the main difference is where their
power lies, Unitary, is one entity, Confederal in the states, and Federal in
National and state power. Besides, the U.S Federalist government is preferable
for their achievements and the significant direct access to government agencies
and policies.
